What time should I arrive?
VIP entry is noon and general gates open at 1:00 pm. Arriving near your entry time means shorter lines and first pours while kegs are freshest.
How does the pouring work?
Your ticket includes unlimited 4 oz tasting pours. You will get a commemorative glass at the gate; bring it to any booth and the brewers pour. Pace yourself, hydrate, and eat.
Is there food?
Yes. A rotating set of Austin food trucks is on site all day, sold separately. Free water stations are spread across the grounds.
What happens at last call?
Last call is 6:00 pm and the festival closes shortly after. Plan your ride home in advance; rideshare and the designated driver program make it easy.
04Beer School

Beer School.

What is Beer School?
Beer School is a series of free guided sessions inside the festival, included with any drinking ticket. Brewers and Guild experts lead short, hands-on tastings on styles, hops, and the Texas brewing scene.
Do I need to sign up for sessions?
No sign-up is needed. Sessions run on a schedule at the Beer School tent and seating is first come, first served. Arrive a few minutes early for the popular talks.
Are the tastings extra?
No. Beer School pours are included with your ticket. Each session includes guided pours that count toward the tasting experience, poured by the people who made the beer.
05Getting there

Getting there.

Where exactly is Fiesta Gardens?
Fiesta Gardens is a historic public park in East Austin at 2101 Jesse E. Segovia St, Austin, TX 78702, along the shore of Lady Bird Lake just east of downtown.
How should I get there?
We strongly encourage rideshare, biking, or the designated driver program. The festival is a short ride from downtown, and rideshare drop-off is the fastest way in and out.
Is there parking?
On-site parking is very limited and fills early. Nearby lots and street parking are available but tight, so plan to arrive early or skip the car entirely.
Is the festival accessible?
Yes. Fiesta Gardens has accessible parking, paths, and restrooms. If you have specific access needs, reach out through the contact form and we will help you plan your day.
06The lineup

The lineup.

How is the brewery list chosen?
Every brewery in the lineup is a small and independent Texas brewer, most of them members of the Texas Craft Brewers Guild. The list reflects the breadth of the state, from Marfa to Galveston.
Will rare or limited beers be poured?
Yes. Many breweries bring barrel-aged, one-off, and festival-only pours, and several of those are reserved for the VIP area during early entry.
Can I meet the brewers?
Absolutely. The people pouring at most booths are the people who made the beer. Ask questions; talking shop with brewers is half the point of the day.
